From a small shop to a national supply partner
Sheen Zar Agriculture Trading Company® began in 1991 as a small agricultural supply shop in Maidan Wardak. In 2007, it was formally registered as a limited company (License D-25621). Today, after more than three decades, it is a trusted national agribusiness, procurement, and project-implementation partner. Moreover, it now serves all 34 provinces of Afghanistan.
The company supplies and implements solutions across agriculture, livestock, logistics, and trading. For example, our range covers certified seeds, fertilizers, and agrochemicals, as well as greenhouses, irrigation systems, laboratory equipment, machinery, and pest-control services. In addition, a nationwide logistics network reaches remote, hard-to-access districts. Throughout, we hold the documentation, quality, and compliance standards that institutional buyers expect.
Since 2004, Sheen Zar has delivered 127 contracts for 47 organizations. These include UN agencies, international donors, NGOs, and Afghan government ministries. In total, the contracted value exceeds USD 5.79 million. Notably, the United Nations FAO is our single largest client, with 22 contracts delivered.
